The planned redevelopment of the old Wimbledon Park golf course by the All England Club, creating a parkland court and 39 practice courts plus a new public park, seems to be coming to a head. The plans are set to be discussed at the next planning meetings of the two local councils of Wandsworth and Merton at the end of April, although dates have come and gone in the past.
